The winners of the 2020 Pulitzer Prizes were announced May 4 and I am thrilled to announce that my work on male sexual assault survivors in the armed forces has been honored as a finalist in the Feature Photography category. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists!!!

Mary F. Calvert is committed to using photography to affect meaningful social change and is known for producing work on gender based, human rights issues. For her work on sexual assault in the US Military, she is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2016 Getty Images Grant for Editorial Photography and 1st Prize, Long Term Projects in the 2016 World Press Photo Contest, as well as the 2014 Alexia Foundation Women’s Initiative Grant, and the 2013 Canon Female Photojournalist Award. She has won the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award twice and is a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist in Feature Photography.
